Payment Schedule
*Joining later? Your $500 non-refundable reservation deposit remains the same. Your remaining retreat balance will be divided across the available payment periods leading up to the April 1, 2027 final payment deadline. The later you register, the higher your installment amount will be.
* All retreat balances must be paid in full by April 1, 2027. Payments become 100% non-refundable beginning March 23, 2027.
Pay with Zelle
For your convenience, you may make your retreat payments securely through Zelle. Please include your full name in the payment memo so we can properly apply your payment to your account.
Once your payment is received, a representative will respond within 24 hours with your payment receipt and an updated statement showing your remaining retreat balance and payment status.
Please keep your confirmation for your records.
Pay by Direct Bank Transfer
For your convenience, you may make your retreat payments securely by direct bank transfer using the banking information provided.
Please include your full name in the payment reference or memo so we can correctly apply the payment to your account.
Once your payment has been received, a representative will respond within 24 hours with your payment receipt and an updated statement reflecting your payment status and outstanding retreat balance.
Please keep your bank transfer confirmation for your records.
Pay with PayPal
For your convenience, you may make your retreat payment securely through PayPal using your PayPal account, debit card, or credit card.
Please enter your full name and email address when completing your payment so we can correctly apply it to your retreat account.
Once your payment is received, a representative will respond within 24 hours with your payment receipt and an updated statement reflecting your payment status and outstanding retreat balance.
Please note that applicable PayPal processing fees may apply.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage is strongly required.
1. Reservation Policy
A $500 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your place for the Living the Soft Life Retreat.
The $500 reservation deposit:
-
Is applied toward your total retreat investment.
-
Is non-refundable under all circumstances, including participant cancellation.
-
Secures your place while the Retreat begins making planning, administrative, accommodation, and vendor commitments on your behalf.
Submitting a deposit does not eliminate the participant's responsibility to make all remaining payments according to the required payment schedule.
2. Payment Schedule
- Your first installment payment is due within 30 days of submitting your $500 reservation deposit.
- Subsequent payments must be made according to the payment schedule provided at registration.
- Regardless of the date a participant registers or the payment plan selected, all outstanding retreat balances must be paid in full no later than April 1, 2027.
- Participants who register after a scheduled payment date may be required to make an adjusted initial payment to bring their account current.
- Failure to make scheduled payments may result in cancellation of the reservation and release of the participant's space.
- Any amounts previously paid remain subject to the cancellation terms contained in this Policy.
3. Cancellation by Participant
All participant cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Cancellation on or before March 22, 2027
Participants who cancel on or before March 22, 2027 may receive a refund of eligible payments made toward the retreat, excluding the $500 non-refundable reservation deposit and any non-recoverable third-party costs already committed on the participant's behalf.
Non-recoverable costs may include accommodation commitments, vendor deposits, activities, transportation, administrative costs, or other expenses that the Retreat cannot reasonably recover following the participant's cancellation.
Cancellation on or after March 23, 2027
Beginning March 23, 2027, all retreat payments become 100% non-refundable.
No cash refund or future-retreat credit will be provided for cancellations made on or after this date.
This policy reflects the significant accommodation, vendor, transportation, staffing, activity, and program commitments required to deliver an international retreat.
No-Show
Failure to arrive for the Retreat constitutes a no-show.
No refund, credit, or transfer will be provided for a no-show.
4. Double-Occupancy Reservations
Double-occupancy pricing is based on two registered participants sharing one villa.
Each participant in a double-occupancy reservation is individually responsible for:

Their own $500 non-refundable reservation deposit;
-
Their individual payment schedule;
-
Their Participant Agreement and required forms; and
-
Compliance with this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If one participant cancels, the cancellation terms applicable on the date of cancellation will apply to the cancelling participant only. The other participant's reservation remains active.
The remaining participant may:
Replace the Roommate: Identify another eligible participant to assume the available double-occupancy space, subject to approval by the Retreat and completion of all required registration documents and payments.
Request Roommate Matching: Ask the Retreat to assist with identifying another participant seeking double occupancy. Roommate matching is subject to availability and mutual participant approval and is not guaranteed.
Convert to Single Occupancy: If a replacement roommate is not secured, the remaining participant may retain the villa as a single-occupancy reservation and will be responsible for the difference between the applicable double-occupancy rate and the single-occupancy retreat rate.
The Retreat is not financially responsible for additional costs resulting from a roommate's cancellation.
Cancellation by one participant does not automatically cancel, refund, or transfer the reservation of the other participant.
5. Transfer of Reservation
If a participant is unable to attend, they may request to transfer their reservation to another eligible individual rather than cancel, subject to approval by the Retreat.
The following conditions apply:

The transfer request must be submitted in writing.

The replacement participant must meet all Retreat eligibility and participation requirements.

The replacement participant must complete all required forms, including the Medical Intake, Liability Waiver, and Participant Agreement.

All outstanding financial obligations associated with the reservation must be satisfied.

A $150 transfer processing fee applies.

The Retreat reserves the right to approve or decline any requested transfer.
Approval of a transfer is not guaranteed.
A participant may not privately sell, assign, or transfer their reservation without written approval from the Retreat organizers.
6. Cancellation by the Retreat Organizers
If the Living the Soft Life Retreat must be cancelled by the organizers due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the Retreat's reasonable control—including natural disaster, pandemic, government travel restrictions, significant safety concerns, or similar events—participants will be offered:

A credit toward a future Living the Soft Life Retreat cohort; OR
-
A refund of eligible retreat payments made, less a 5% administrative processing fee and any non-recoverable third-party costs, where applicable.
The Retreat is not responsible for expenses participants arrange independently, including airfare, passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, additional accommodations, personal transportation, or personal purchases.
Participants are strongly encouraged not to purchase non-refundable independent travel arrangements without appropriate travel insurance.
7. How to submit a cancellation request

2. Include your full name, the retreat cohort date, and reason for cancellation (optional)
3. A confirmation of receipt will be sent within 48 business hours
4. Refunds (where applicable) are processed within 10–14 business days via the original payment method
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage is REQUIRED for all participants.
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase coverage immediately after submitting their $500 reservation deposit.
Travel insurance should be reviewed carefully to determine coverage for circumstances including illness, injury, family emergencies, trip interruption, delayed or cancelled flights, lost baggage, and other events that could prevent or disrupt travel.
Some insurance providers impose time limits following the initial trip deposit for certain benefits or coverage provisions. Participants are responsible for understanding and complying with the requirements of their selected insurance policy.
The Retreat is not responsible for losses that may have been recoverable through appropriate travel insurance.
9. Important Dates
Retreat Start Date: May 23, 2027
$500 Reservation Deposit: Due at registration and non-refundable.
First Installment: Due within 30 days of reservation deposit.
Refund Eligibility Deadline: March 22, 2027.
100% Non-Refundable Period Begins: March 23, 2027.
Final Payment Deadline: April 1, 2027.
All balances must be paid in full by April 1, 2027, regardless of the participant's original registration date.
10. How to submit a cancellation request
All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to:

Whether you are requesting cancellation or transfer; and

Your reason for cancellation or transfer, if you choose to provide one.
The effective cancellation date is the date the Retreat receives the written cancellation request, not the date the participant decides to cancel.
Confirmation of receipt will normally be provided within 48 business hours.
Approved refunds will generally be processed within 10–14 business days to the original payment method whenever possible.
